Don’t Cry

You are allowed to celebrate.

Not in this situation you are allowed to shed even a single tear.
I don’t give you that opportunity to grief on what had happened.
Because in those moments I am shedding my tears, you’re absent
And that journey alone gave me so much to ponder – about us.

Then when you found my body, cold and lifeless you will be sad
If I can even speak a word, I will tell you – pity human
You miss the chance to work things out – to fix us
And now death snatch me away from your peace

When you said you need space – I freely give
Though I didn’t realize the burden it entails
The coldness of your presence, and the secret glances
What brought you this far – to cause me pain?

Question: What is your message to this world before you die?
